Legends of Reggae Lambretta process
Here is the sequence for Paul’s Lambretta. Text will be expanded.
Paul’s Lambretta bought from India.
The logbook in blue crocodile skin.
Early Sketches and image choice phase.
Powder coating and etch primed by Kevin at the Bike Clinic Ramsgate.

Base coat beginnings
This is where I come in to smooth gradients and do finicky actions.
Colour transitions are finished off and a flash-coat of lacquer applied. This will be keyed later.
Airbrush detailing commences. This is on top of the keyed lacquer surface.
Back home and working on Haile Selassie on the tool-box cover.
Initial decisions for positioning.
Stencils are cut for the portraits and a black undercoat applied.

The Legends emerge. Water based Auto Acrylics. Awkward to use. Slows down the process.
